FuckYeah! Ask a Bi!

Anonymous asked: Kay, so I've come out as bisexual to a number of close friends. For a lot of people, It goes in one ear and out the other. They say things like 'well, I think everyone's bisexual'. Bust most people say 'okay' and just seem to ignore it. They refer to me as straight, and say things like 'you won't care about this but.." when referring to the attractiveness of guys.

Okay.  So, from your writing, I can´t tell if you are male or female or neither…?  But regardless of your gender identification, your friends should not be ignoring you like this.  Sit one of them down - someoe you trust to have a calm, peaceful, intelligent conversation with you.  Ask them why they don´t seem to care, or don´t respect that you have come out to them.  Tell them how much it hurts you, and hurts your friendship with them when they say things like this.

Hopefully, they are just woefully ignorant and will realize that they aren´t being kind to you.  Worst case situation, you find new friends who care truly about you.  Seriously.  If they don´t love you for YOU, then screw em.
