Anonymous asked: Okay so I have known I'm bi for a fact for several years now but I've never actually dated/done anything with a girl. I know that my mom thinks "bi-sexuals should pick a side and stick to it" but other than that, she's a very open and excepting mother. I have a steady relationship with a guy right now and I don't think I'll be seeing any girls anytime soon so my question is, would there be any reason for me to come out to her? Or should I just wait until I need to tell her? Any similar stories?
Personally, I feel you don’t need to “come out” unless you absolutely feel it’s the right thing to do. Others disagree, and see it as a rite of passage for people, but it’s truly up to the individual themselves. Do what you think is best, there is no right answer!
